CLARIDON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - A new four-way stop is coming soon to Geauga County.

Troopers say the new traffic safety measure will be at State Route 608, which is Old State Road, and Chardon-Windsor Road.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the goal is to make the intersection safer for everyone.

Crews will be installing stop signs, all-way stop plaques and painted stop bars.

The new four-way stop sign will go into effect Sept. 9.
