LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) —The Laurel County Sheriff's Office arrested a 54-year-old man in connection with roughly $50,000 of stolen items on Sunday afternoon.

The owner of a stolen red trailer and tools, David Phillips, filed a stolen property complaint with LCSO just before 3 p.m. on Sunday.

In a news release Monday afternoon, LCSO announced that Darrell Smith, 54, was arrested around 3:40 p.m. on McWhorter Road.
