After three years of waiting his turn, Ty Simpson will take his first snaps as Alabama’s starting quarterback this week.
Simpson was named the starter during training camp and will make his first start when the No. 8 Crimson Tide plays Florida State on Saturday (2:30 p.m. CT, ABC) at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.
