On Tuesday, each NFL team was required to reduce its preseason roster to 53 players on its regular-season active roster.
On its way to getting there, Philadelphia waived three men who had played at Alabama – tight end Cameron Latu, cornerback Eli Ricks and running back Keilan Robinson.
None is a rookie. Ricks has played in 23 regular-season games and one playoff contest for the Eagles over the past two seasons, Robinson played in six games for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a fifth-round rookie in 2024 and Latu has not appeared in an NFL game.
