A flash flood warning is in effect until 5 p.m. Monday for parts of northern El Paso County, including the Falcon area, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

The alert was shared on social media at around 2:45 p.m. by the Weather Service.

Noon update

A flash flood watch will be in effect Monday from noon through the evening for much of the Pikes Peak region, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

The flood watch area includes El Paso, Teller, Pueblo and Fremont counties as well as others south to the New Mexico border.
