CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) - The pickleball court proposal once again has found itself in a pickle.

The proposal to build pickleball courts in Shreveport was pushed back at a meeting held Monday, Aug. 25 and sent back to the Economic Development Committee.

This pushback happened because the Caddo Parish Commission now estimates the new pickleball court could cost roughly $10 million.

The proposal has gotten mixed feedback. Some are not pleased with the price tag of the proposal, while others are happy with this possible addition to the city.
