A partial ground stop was ordered Monday at Los Angeles International Airport due to thunderstorms, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The groundstop was ordered until about 3:45 p.m., according to the FAA.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued Monday afternoon for parts of Riverside and northern Los Angeles counties. The warnings were expected to expired around 3:30 p.m.

Part of San Bernardino County was under a flash flood warning. The warning was in the Twentynine Palms area.
