Don Ford’s five-year-old son has become interested in sports, and during their conversations about athletics, dad often tells the inquisitive boy about his high school football team.

Rondout Valley: The 2000 Class B state champions. Rondout Valley was the first Section 9 football team to win a state title. Twenty-five years later, Ford and his teammates still remember the unforgettable run fondly.
