CAMERON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Six people are without a home after a fire destroyed a residence in Cameron County on Monday.
On Aug. 25, crews were called to a fully involved house fire on Moore Hill Road in Shippen Township. According to Fire Chief Patrick Uber of the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department, multiple departments from Elk, Cameron and McKean County responded to the scene.
The home was a total loss and six people were displaced.
Uber added that the cause of the fire is still unknown at this time, but it is believed to be accidental in nature.
