MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people were arrested in Chowchilla after officers found several grams of methamphetamine and items that could have been used for the sale of the drug on Monday, the city's police department said.

Officers say they arrested 50-year-old Michael Young and 61-year-old Reginald Buckner.

The arrests come after officers and their drone team served a search warrant in the 1400 block of Colusa Avenue, and reported K-9 Nelson found around 14 grams of methamphetamine. Scales and baggies used for sales were also found on the property, as well as approximately seven firearms and ammunition.
