Former Michigan offensive lineman Andrew Stueber was among the Bengals’ first wave of cuts on Monday.

The 2022 seventh-round pick was one of 12 players waived by Cincinnati ahead of Tuesday’s deadline to finalize its 53-man roster. Stueber made his NFL debut with the Bengals in 2024 -- two years after being drafted.

The team claimed him on waivers from the Falcons in October and then signed him to the active roster in December. He appeared in seven games while playing primarily on special teams.

After getting selected by the Patriots in 2022, Stueber missed his rookie season because of injury. The former first-team all-Big Ten selection spent most of 2023 and 2024 on New England’s practice squad before the team released him in June 2024.
