HARTFORD, Conn. —

Third-grade students at Kennelly School in Hartford received bookbags full of school supplies on Monday afternoon.

All thanks to the "How'd I Get Here" podcast group based in Hartford.

"It's super important to help the kids and let them know they have support from other people beyond their parents,” Co-Host Jacob Conde said. “A lot of times they spend more time at school than at home, so they know they have a community they can look to for help."

Jacob Conde is a behavioral technician at Kennelly School.

He, along with his two co-hosts Spencer Cephas and Ashley Dyer, packed more than 50 bookbags full of supplies ahead of the first day for the Hartford students.
