FAIRFIELD, Conn. — FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTIC) - Dairy Queen ice cream with your team after a baseball victory always hits the spot. For Fairfield National, those scoops didn't come until the day after a win over Aruba, good for 3rd place in the Little League World Series, and then a four-hour drive back from Williamsport.

And ice cream was only the tip of the iceberg. After the team finished every last bite of their cones and drop of their milkshakes, they got on a Fairfield fire engine decked out with custom signs emblazoned with their success.
