Hundreds of East Valley high school seniors are continuing to miss out on a gateway to financial help for college and other post-graduate education programs.

Like many graduates before them, they’re failing to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – a gateway to federal aid.

Many Arizona students are seeing the form arrive in their school email accounts.

But chances are high that many will ignore the form.

Although Arizona ranks among the top 10 states for year-over-year FAFSA completion growth, the state still sits at 49th in the country for overall completion rates.

Students nearing graduation and their families must complete FAFSA to apply for federal student aid, including Pell Grants, work-study funds, and loans.
