After a soggy start to the work week, we get a bit of break Tuesday, before our next round of rain rolls across Kansas. High temperatures on Tuesday will climb slightly higher than Monday, but still remains well below average for late August.

For most of the state, Tuesday will stay dry. The only exception could be Southwest Kansas where a few sprinkles map pop up during the day. The first round of more meaningful rainfall arrives in Western Kansas very late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.
