LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Nevada State Police are investigating a deadly crash Tuesday morning that has closed the main highway from Las Vegas to Pahrump.

The crash was reported after midnight in the westbound lanes of State Route 160 at mile marker 28. Traffic headed from Las Vegas to Pahrump is being diverted to US 95 northbound to get to State Route 160 and enter Pahrump from the northern end of the valley.
