A Brit tourist has died after plunging from a third-floor window at a South African resort. ‌

The 68-year-old man, who has not yet been named, had been on holiday in Ramsgate, a village on KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast that is popular among South Africans and international tourists , reports the Mirror. ‌

He fell from the window just after midnight on Saturday. Spokesperson for the KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service, Craig Botha, said paramedics raced to the scene and found the man in a critical state before applying Advanced Life Support Interventions. ‌

But his condition quickly worsened on the way to hospital and, despite desperate efforts from medics, he could not be saved.
