Police found £300,000 worth of cocaine after pulling a man over on the M6 .
Rufus Onya's white Nissan Qashqai was stopped near Junction 40 for Penrith by Cumbria Police, Lancs Live reported .
Officers said the 47-year-old 'appeared nervous' and he 'gave conflicting stories' for his travel plans.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and large amounts of white powder recovered from the boot, inside a cardboard box which was also containing an air conditioning unit. Onya was then arrested.
His home address in Kent was then searched and thousands of pounds recovered were from under his bed. Following an examination of the white powder, it was ascertained that it was cocaine with a potential street value of £300,000.
