OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. —

A small plane crash has been reported in Seneca, according to the Director of the Oconee County Airport.

Director David Pollard said it happened Tuesday between 8 and 9 a.m. near Rho Road. Latest Forecast

Officials said the plane is still upright and did not flip over or catch fire.

We are told that the plane did not take off from the Oconee County airport. Authorities said they don't know the type of plane or where it was going.

Officials said that the pilot is OK and was speaking to first responders.

At this time, authorities say they don't know exactly what caused the plane to crash.
