PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Detectives with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office have arrested three people tied to a contraband investigation, including a former deputy and current inmate.

Investigators said an investigation into prohibited items being taken into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility ended in the arrest of former deputy LaQuint Smith, inmate Devin Reyes and Amanda Tropf of Little Rock.

Smith is facing a charge of furnishing, possessing, or using prohibited articles. Reyes and Tropf are also facing charges related to their involvement in providing contraband, deputies said.

Records show that Smith and Tropf are being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond.
