CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is hoping its new partnership with several community organizations will lead to an influx in tips surrounding cold case homicides.
ODRC, CrimeStoppers and UCanSpeakForMe have come together to place posters in Ohio prisons.
The hope is that the posters will encourage inmates to leave anonymous tips that can help solve cold case homicides.
“Inmates don’t see what’s going on in our community,” said Hope Dudley. “So, I thought if they saw the flyers, because some of them are their brothers, their mothers, their fathers.”
Dudley has diligently raised awareness for solving cold cases in Ohio ever since her son Daniel’s murder in 2007.
