Cecilia Clary speaks on witnessing Walmart stabbing and finding healing

TRAVERSR CITY — A witness to the July 18 Walmart stabbing is speaking out on her experience and how it has impacted her life.

Cecilia Clary of Traverse City was present when Bradford James Gille, 42, of Afton, attacked individuals inside the Walmart.

Clary shared on Good Day Northern Michigan what it was like to be inside the store as the incident played out.

He was detained and later arraigned in the 86th District Court in Traverse City, and a not-guilty plea was entered on the charges of terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder.

At an Aug. 22 competency hearing, Gille was ruled not competent to stand trial.
