TRAVERSE CITY — The Great Lakes Children’s Museum will temporarily close its Curiosity Place in early September to install new exhibits and refresh gallery spaces.
The closure will run Monday, Sept. 1, through Thursday, Sept. 4, while staff and volunteers begin setting up interactive exhibits and updating existing installations. The museum will reopen for regular play Friday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 7, before closing again Monday, Sept. 8 through Wednesday, Sept. 10, to complete the work.
Normal operating hours will resume on Thursday, Sept. 11, with newly installed learning opportunities for children and families.
