TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations' Florida chapter is calling for the release of a Palestinian-American teenager who was detained by Israel.

According to CAIR and the teen's family, Mohammed Zaher Ibrahim has been detained by Israel for six months without trial. He was detained by Israeli military when he was 15 and is now 16.

The press conference begins Tuesday at noon.
