Cheshire Police have issued an appeal to the public for help locating a man following a 'serious assault' in a pub near Macclesfield .

32-year-old Richard Bradbury, from Macclesfield, is wanted in connection with the incident which took place at a pub in Langley on Sunday August 24.

During the incident, the victim sustained a serious laceration to his head and second degree burns to part of his body.

The 26-year-old victim is currently recovering in a specialist burns unit, says the force, who have released a photo of Bradbury.

Bradbury is described as white, of slim build, around 5’ 8” tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
