ATLANTIC CITY — A 40-year-old man died early Tuesday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Connecticut Avenue at 6:40 a.m. and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said in a news release. The man was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, and pronounced dead.
