A dad who died in a horror crash involving a black motorcycle and a car has been named and pictured for the first time. ‌

Lorne MacMillan, from Arisaig, tragically died from his injuries after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a grey Peugeot on the A9 near Latheron on Sunday, August 10. ‌

Emergency crews rushed to the scene around 9.50am. Lorne was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by air ambulance where despite medics best efforts he sadly died on Monday, August 25. ‌

His heartbroken family have released a touching tribute to Lorne describing him as the "centre of our world".

In a statement released via Police Scotland, loved ones said: "We are devastated to share that our darling Lorne lost his fight for life last night. Our hearts are forever broken
