Debby’s Drive Thru has been cooking up egg sandwiches for nearly a dozen years in a Sudbury, Massachusetts, shopping plaza parking lot.
But the owner of the breakfast kiosk says the town is cracking down, telling her the way she prepares her eggs - by microwave won’t cut it for safety reasons.

"Without egg sandwiches, this business is nothing," owner Debby Johnston said.
Johnston said other methods are not practical for such a small establishment, and patties or substitutes aren’t what her customers want. Without egg sandwiches on the menu, running this kiosk is scrambling the business model and wouldn’t be financially viable.
So she’s opted to shut down.
