GRAND RAPIDS, MI - It’s been nearly five months since Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) President Charles Lepper abruptly resigned, and the search for his replacement is now getting underway.
This spring, the GRCC Board of Trustees hired a search firm, Academic Search, to help assist with the presidential selection process.
The campus community was encouraged to participate in listening sessions on Aug. 11 and 14 to gather feedback on developing a presidential profile. An internal session is planned for Thursday, Aug. 28.
An interim president has been appointed, but the president position has not yet been posted and no candidates have been named.
