WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Trump suggested at a press conference Tuesday that he'd soon impose tariffs on imported furniture.

Trump cited a visit to furniture makers in North Carolina as the reason behind the tariffs.

"[The furniture industry] was stolen from us by others, not only China," Trump said. "Because all of a sudden you're ordering your furniture from China."

Recently, Trump also ended an exemption for import taxes on products less than $800.
