MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - A man with 20 outstanding warrants in two counties was arrested after hiding in an attic on Tuesday.
Moline Police’s Crisis Containment Unite found Shaun D. Powell, 43, of Moline, hiding under insulation in the attic in the home on the 3000 block of 15th Street after an hours-long standoff.
He was wanted on 11 warrants in Rock Island County and nine warrants in Scott County.
Moline police got a search warrant for the home after an Iowa High Risk Unit said Powell could be found at the home.
He was taken to the Rock Island County Jail, pending a court appearance.
Powell was arrested on the following warrants:
