WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was sentenced Tuesday morning to four days in jail for his DUI last year.
Cutler was arrested in October 2024 in Franklin, Tennessee after police responded to a minor traffic collision.
He rear-ended another vehicle and was slurring his words with blood shot eyes, according to police. According to court documents, Cutler initially told police he did not consume any alcohol and then said he had “a little bit” when questioned further.
He was charged with a DUI and possession of a handgun while under the influence. Cutler was sentenced to four days in jail for the DUI and the gun charge was dropped as part of the guilty plea, according to the district attorney's office.
