For a third consecutive year, former Eastern Michigan standout Dylan Drummond is a training camp cut.

The Atlanta Falcons finalized their 53-man roster ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. league deadline, and Drummond was among those waived. It’s a familiar position for the wide receiver.

After last year’s camp, the Falcons released Drummond before re-signing him to the practice squad — a possible outcome again this season.

Drummond, who also spent time with the New York Giants, began his NFL career in 2023 with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent. He showed flashes with sure hands and reliable route running but couldn’t crack a crowded receiver group.
