WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A potentially dangerous intersection in Burke County that’s claimed the lives of several people this month has a deadly history going back years.
On Monday, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office announced it was working with GDOT to figure out if anything could be done to make the intersection of Highway 25 South and Coleman Young Road safer.
“When everybody knows everybody, it really affects them when someone is in an accident like that,” said Mary Ann Dixon, owner of Liberty Street Barntique.
