CUMMING, Ga. — An hourslong manhunt for a man wanted in a domestic violence incident has come to an end in Forsyth County on Monday night.

Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies had been searching for Brendan Lombardi since just after 4 p.m. near the Brandon Hall subdivision near the intersection of Windermere Parkway and Old Atlanta Road in Cumming.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office posted on social media that deputies were actively searching for Lombardi after he was involved in a domestic incident that resulted in "serious injuries."

The search zone widened and spanned multiple hours, but Lombardi was arrested around 9 p.m., deputies said. The sheriff's office credited a "quick thinking citizen" who called in a suspicious person, which turned out to be Lombardi.
