AUSTIN, Texas (KBTX) - Texas Governor Greg Abbott ceremonially signed legislation on Tuesday at the Texas Capitol aimed at protecting the state from threats posed by hostile foreign adversaries such as Russia, Iran, and China.

The bills, passed during the 89th Regular Legislative Session, are intended to address security concerns related to foreign influence in Texas.

“This is something that the people of Texas wanted- the people of America wanted... This is very simple.
