The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing a former Penn State standout.

Former Penn State cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields is being released by the Eagles, according to a report from NJ.com’s Cayden Steele on Tuesday, the NFL’s roster cutdown deadline.

Castro-Fields dealt with a hamstring injury during training camp and could be waived with an injury designation, meaning he might return to Philadelphia.
