A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 5:54 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 6:30 p.m. for Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.

The storms are packing marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 30 mph.

"At 5:54 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Willow Lake, or 26 miles southwest of Crater Lake, moving northeast at 10 mph," according to the weather service. "Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible."

The alert is for Malone Springs.

The weather service comments, "If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building."
