EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell University just made a big splash in the Lane County medical community, having purchased two PeaceHealth buildings directly next door to their campus in an effort to expand their nursing and healthcare service programs.
“We have been begging [PeaceHealth] for years, ‘if you ever sell it, let us know, let us know,’” Bushnell University President Joseph Womack said. “So that decision for them came in the middle of last spring and we've been back and forth on the two main buildings on 11th street.
"And we were able to get that purchase and agreement done a couple of weeks ago and we're supposed to close by the end of September.”
