CORVALLIS, Ore- Oregon State football's offense faces a significant challenge as the 2025 season approaches. On Monday, it was discovered that wide receiver Darrius Clemons will be absent for the rest of the year.

Clemons, a former Michigan transfer, announced on his Instagram that he ruptured his Achilles tendon during fall camp. In the post Clemons showed a picture of himself at the hospital after undergoing surgery.

"The last week has been a hard time for me," Clemons said on his Instagram story. "I am grateful for my family, friends, teammates, coaches and staff members for uplifting me in this trying time. I wish my brothers nothing but the best this season."

As the Portland native works on his recovery, his return for the 2026 season remains uncertain.
