MARINETTE, Wis. (WBAY) - The mother of a 13-year-old boy with autism who passed away over the weekend from a drowning incident in Marinette is speaking out Tuesday night, saying her child may have been bullied.
A 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man could face charges after the 13-year-old, Jakob Bowerman, was pushed off of Government Pier.
As we’ve reported, the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon. Jakob died Saturday night from his injuries after being on life support for several days.
His mother, Taylor Singer, wants to share her story and spread an important message.
