CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - The judge has granted a change of venue in the murder case of Lily Peters.

The court has not yet decided if that means the case physically moving to another county, or if there will be an outside jury brought in.

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - A judge is expected to decide whether the case of the teen charged in the murder of Lily Peters will remain in Chippewa County, or not.

A motion hearing is set to take place Wednesday for 17-year-old Carson Peters-Berger. The main motion that the court will consider during the hearing, is whether to change where he will stand trial.

For the last three years, court proceedings focused on whether Carson Peters-Berger would be tried in juvenile or adult court. In January last year, the judge ruled to keep his case in a
