Prince Jackson has announced his engagement.

Michael Jackson's eldest son and his longtime girlfriend Molly Schirmang are set to wed, with the news revealed via a social media post.

Prince, 28, shared a carousel of images of himself and Molly sharing happy times, with the post accompanied by his late father's 1987 single, I Just Can't Stop Loving You.

Prince shared that the two of them had been a couple for eight years.

"8 years down (infinity emoji) to go," he wrote in the caption. "Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories."

Snapshots of the couple's relationship included images of the pair making red-carpet appearances together as well as enjoying the outdoors while hiking and kayaking.

One photo also showed the couple posing with Prince's paternal grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

"We've traveled the world, graduated and grown so much together," Prince wrote to conclude the caption. "I'm excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs."

Prince is the eldest of Michael's three children. He and his sister Paris, 27, are the children of Michael and his second wife Debbie Rowe, while his 23-year-old brother Bigi's maternity is unknown.
