NORTHPORT, Ala. (WIAT) -- Northport voters consider the 2025 municipal election results a major victory after voting out two incumbents and voting in their new mayor.

Lost Pizza Company was packed Tuesday night with Northport residents excited to wake up Wednesday morning and see what things are in store for their city. For the newly elected mayor, Dale Phillips that starts when the sun comes up.

“I look forward to hitting the ground running," Phillips said. "We’ll actually start tomorrow. Making some contacts with people, doing some things. We're going to get started.”

Phillips is eager to rebuild Northport.

Here are the council members Phillips will have working alongside him:

Turnley Smith, District 1

Woodrow Washington III, District 2 (incumbent)

Jaime Webb Conger, District 3
