Sound: Ethereal, alternative soul, funk and psychedelic rock

History: An Ann Arbor-based singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer, Dani Darling says she is influenced by Erykah Badu, Radiohead, and old Hollywood movie scores. Throughout her relatively short music career, she's led a four-piece band to regional acclaim, releasing handfuls of EPs. They've been spotlighted in The Detroit News, named an "Artist to Watch" by the Detroit Metro Times, nominated for a 2021 Detroit Music Award and sponsored by the Amplify Fellowship.
