Jet2 has issued a warning to passengers flying to Greece tomorrow (Thursday August 28) due to planned strike action which “may impact Greek Air Traffic Control”.

The airline said it was monitoring developments closely and currently plans to operate all flights as scheduled. Passengers are urged to keep an eye on the airline’s website for updates.

The strike action is set to take place between 9.30am and 1.30pm local time. The walk-out is part of a wider 24-hour strike called by the public sector union ADEDY.

It’s in response to a proposed draft law and there are concerns it could have negative effects on trade union, social and political activities, Travel and World Tour World reports.
