A collision between a lorry and a car prompted traffic disruption for drivers in Birmingham this morning.

It happened on the A452 Chester Road, near to the Spitfire Island, in Castle Bromwich, at around 8.15am today, Wednesday, August 28.

One ambulance attended and assessed the occupants of each vehicle

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: "We were called by the police to reports of a car and a lorry RTC on the A452 Chester Road near to the Spitfire Island, Castle Bromwich, at 8.13am today.

"One ambulance attended and assessed the occupants of each vehicle.

"No one required hospital
