The Sun Valley Film Festival will recognize longtime Wood River Valley residents Carol and Scott Glenn with its prestigious Harriman Award on Thursday at the Argyros Performing Arts Center.

The free evening event will begin with a community reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by the award presentation at 5:30 p.m.

Guests will also get an exclusive first look at “Eugene the Marine,” a new film starring Scott Glenn, with a post-screening Q&A featuring the Emmy-nominated actor.

The Harriman Award, named for Sun Valley founder Averell Harriman, recognizes individuals whose contributions reflect both pioneering spirit and community philanthropy—a “balance of achievement and service,” said Film Festival co-founder Teddy Grennan.
