WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - This talented driver comes from an impressive racing family tree.

Adam Roberts’ father, Steve, was a master on the track. Among his wins was the Pabst Shootout in 1989. Adam, you might say, has racing in his blood. 1989 turned out to be a big year on and off the track.

“Well, growing up, I was kind of born into it. As soon as I was born, my dad was full-blown into dirt modified racing. I was born in ’89, so we’ve been racing dirt modifieds since then. Before that, he ran late models at Evans Mills and Can-Am. Went up to Frogtown, which is now Mohawk. Also, Cornwall, Brockville. He ran all over the place, really,” said Adam Roberts.

Adam Roberts’ racing career started on a much smaller track than to the one he races on at Can-Am.
