Former Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor's hearing before the state Civil Service Commission continues Wednesday as he seeks to get his job back following his firing in March.

Proctor was fired after an internal investigation, brought on by his testimony during Karen Read’s first trial, sustained allegations of misconduct, including derogatory text messages, sharing information with people outside the department and drinking alcohol on the job.

Wednesday is the second day of the hearing. Another three days of hearings are scheduled for October.
